These images show color finishes on antique American machines reflecting the mid-day sun through various forms of surface corrosion. The initial larger-than-life digital prints exhibited (see installation photos below) were shot on 4x5 slide film, drum scanned, and mounted on 3x5' aluminum sheets. This version was a failure and was destroyed but other configuration possibilities remain.
